Majestic Baroque church with two towers and a statue of St. Paul on the facade is shared with the adjacent building of the monastery, one of the main features of the historic center of Žilina. Complex was built in the 18th century by Jesuits, and later, after the cancellation of the order by Pope Clement XIV., it was confiscated. The monastery housed for a while an orphanage, then a school or other institution. The Capuchins inhabit it today.
