Košice Castle and observation tower at Hradová

A popular relax location of Košice and tourists from afar is the park at the top of hill Hradová in the northwest of Košice. Here, in the lap of a beautiful East Slovak nature, far from the bustle of the city, lie remnants of the once mighty castle of Košice. Near carefully maintained ruins runs civic association Castellum Cassovia The castle tearoom, which also works as an information center and small castle museum. In the area there are also several nature trails dedicated to castle and nature Hradová, and also places suitable for barbecues. At the very top of the hill Hradová rises 20 meters high observation tower hiding a breathtaking view of the city of Košice, Košice Basin,  Hornad Valley or Slanské Hills.
