Blue Church in Bratislava
A Striking blue coloured Church of St. Elizabeth (called Blue Church) is one of most beautiful and popular sights of the capital city. The architect of the church Ödön Lechner wanted to create a new Hungarian architectural style combined with Art Nouveau and Asian elements. However, he abandoned some intended oriental ideas, he managed to create a really unique work, which no visitor should miss.
