ZOO Spišská Nová Ves

One of the numerous attractions of Spišská Nová Ves is a zoo, which is situated in
a pleasant and large urban park with a pond and streamlet. In the zoo there are more than 100 species of domestic and exotic animals, some of them are strictly protected and without zoos would have died out a long time ago. As an example of endangered species may be mentioned Siberian tiger, the largest felines in the world, or the leopard. Other interesting animals that can be found in this zoo is worth to mention two-humped camel, Bornean Orangutan or Puma.
