Michael’s Gate - Bratislava City Museum - Museum of Arms

Michael’s Gate, a relict of the former city fortification is one of the famous historical monuments of Old Town in Bratislava. Its 51 metres high Baroque tower belongs to symbols of Bratislava. At present the tower serves as a museum of arms where visitors can learn about the history of the city fortification, development of cold steel and firearms and crafts focused on the defence of the city. From the top floor of the Michael’s Tower visitors may get to the observation deck and admire a unique view of the historical part of Bratislava.
