Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava

Museum of Jewish Culture is housed in Zsigray Curia in Jewish street in Bratislava. It is one of the unique specialized museums of the SNM (Slovak National Museum). The permanent exhibition of the museum acquaints visitors with the history and culture of Jews living in Slovakia since the times of the Great Moravian Empire. Three-dimensional and two-dimensional exhibits give visitors an idea of the everyday life of the Jewish population, Jewish Holidays, the synagogue's interior and personalities of Jewish origin who made Slovakia famous. Closing of the exhibition is dedicated to the memory of approximately 70,000 Holocaust victims from our territory.
