M.L. Szepsi Wine Museum

Moldava nad Bodvou was once an important trading point on the wine route from eastern Slovakia to Poland. Well-known winemaker was also local-born preacher and chronicler Laczkó Máté Szepsi. The museum located in the ancient cellar under the building Moladava Municipal Cultural Centre is named after him. This museum gives the visitors the authentic atmosphere of a medieval wine cellar and except wine barrels and bottles there may be admired a valuable carving and blacksmith works.
