Bratislava City Museum - Museum of Clocks

The Rococo-style House of the Good Shepherd, one of the masterpieces of Central European burgher architecture belongs to several original preserved buildings in the area below Bratislava Castle. At present there is the exhibition of the Museum of Clocks documenting the history of watchmaking from the late 17th to the late 19th century. Visitors can admire a unique collection of portable sundials from the 17th – 18th century, all sorts
of table and wall clocks, alarm clocks and different types of pocket watches and much more. Most of the exhibits are signed by Bratislava master clockmakers.
